I’ve been through it all—starting as an unprofitable trader and climbing my way to consistent profitability. I know the highs of hype and hope, the lows of greed and hesitation, and the countless lessons learned from refusing to cut losses. Every aspect of trader psychology, including the blind spots that can arise while chasing the Gann methodology, has shaped my experience.
My Journey from A College Student to a Gann Master Trader
My trading story began in 1999 while I was still in university.
A friend tipped me off about a hot entertainment stock, CULE, predicting it would double in value. I took a chance, buying 10,000 shares at $0.30 and selling them a week later at $1.84. That single trade netted me $15,400 and sparked my passion for trading.
Armed with top grades in Mathematics and Logic from Simon Fraser University
I felt like I was going to have it all: winning big trades and having an edge being good at Math and Logic. I believe mathematics is the best possible way to beat the market – as behind every indicator was a very famous trader or a gifted mathematician.

When I started to trade, I failed to earn a consistent profit. Other Metastock experts stated that I need to continuously change my variables to fit my system to the forex pair I am trading.
But after a year of tweaking technical indicators and seeing inconsistent results, I realized I needed a new approach.
Everything shifted when I discovered W.D. Gann, often called the “Warren Buffett of the trading world.”
Gann’s revolutionary use of mathematics, astrology, and numerology to predict market movements fascinated me. Over the next decade, I invested in rare materials like The Law of Vibration by Dr. Jerome Baumring and Gann’s first edition of The Tunnel Thru the Air.
My Breakthrough
After years of study, trading consistency eluded me until my Gann mentor revealed the Anniversary Date method, a fresh perspective I'd never encountered before. The results were immediate.
I then invested $15,000 in my mentor's trading books after witnessing this method's power. When the planetary alignment that marked the November 9, 2007 British Pound high reappeared on September 28, 2014, and November 4, 2015, I confidently sold five contracts each time, generating over $30,000 in profits.
This discovery became my foundation for exploring how planetary cycles enhance Gann Angle Lines in modern markets. Beyond technique, I developed something more valuable, the ability to think like Gann himself.
By thinking, reading, and interpreting with Gann’s lens
I identified harmonic repeating patterns, wheels within wheels to pinpoint precise market turning points. This discovery transformed me from an inconsistent, burnout trader spending countless hours each week into someone making reliable trading income that replaced my 9-5 job. The proof? My documented predictions in Wave 59 from before any of you knew me that changed everything.
My trading methods have earned recognition even among seasoned professionals.
I’m humbled to be the first Hongkonger invited to publish forecasts on FXStreet.com, Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities, and Traders World based on a 15-year track record of results. From accurately predicting Brexit in 2016 to capturing 600+ Dow points live in our trading room, I’ve consistently published transparent, time-stamped forecasts on platforms like TradingView, where edits and deletions aren’t allowed.

I also made a personal rule: 10% of every market win goes to love. This principle recently funded a memorable holiday with my parents to Phuket, Thailand. It also enables me to surprise friends with thoughtful gifts, quality dining experiences, and my most valuable asset - dedicated time together.
And for myself, I honor my childhood dream: flying to Japan whenever I can to play baseball. Trading gave me the freedom to do all that and the clarity to know why it matters.
